Ingredients

  • 2 dashes (1.2 ml) Angostura Aromatic Bitters
    Classic aromatic bitters
  • 1/4 oz (7.4 ml) Fernet Branca
    Italian bitter digestif
  • 2 oz (59.1 ml) Rye Whiskey
    Canadian or American rye
  • 1/4 oz (7.4 ml) Simple Syrup
    Rich simple syrup 2:1

Instructions

  1. Add 2 oz (59.1 ml) rye whiskey, 1/4 oz (7.4 ml) Fernet Branca, and 1/4 oz (7.4 ml) simple syrup to mixing glass
  2. Add 2 dashes (1.2 ml) Angostura bitters
  3. Fill with ice and stir until well chilled
  4. Strain into chilled coupe glass

    Pre-chill glass

  5. Express orange peel oils over drink and garnish
