- 3/4 oz (22.2 ml) Fresh Lime JuiceFresh squeezed
- 1 dash (0.6 ml) Angostura Aromatic BittersTraditional Trader Vic addition
- 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Orange CuraçaoPierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao preferred
- 2 oz (59.1 ml) Aged Jamaican RumJamaican aged rum essential for authentic flavor
- 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Orgeat SyrupAlmond syrup essential
- 1/4 oz (7.4 ml) Rock Candy SyrupRich simple syrup
Instructions
- Add 2 oz (59.1 ml) aged Jamaican rum, 3/4 oz (22.2 ml) fresh lime juice, 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) orange curaçao, 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) orgeat, and 1/4 oz (7.4 ml) rock candy syrup to shaker
- Add 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Fill with ice and shake vigorously
- Strain into rocks glass filled with crushed ice
- Garnish with fresh mint sprig and spent lime shell
