
Lemon Lime and Bitters
Australia's pub refresher: lemonade, lime and a coat of Angostura
Ingredients
- 6 dashes (3.8 ml) Angostura BittersSwirled to coat the glass; a couple more over the top for color
- 5 oz (148 ml) Lemon-Lime SodaSprite-style soda or cloudy lemonade, well chilled
- 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Lime CordialThe traditional pub pour
Instructions
- Dash the Angostura bitters into a highball glass and swirl to coat the inside
Tip out any excess — the pink coat is what makes an LLB
- Fill the glass with ice and add the lime cordial
- Top with chilled lemon-lime soda and give one gentle stir
Gentle — keep the fizz
- Garnish with a lime wheel
