Hanky Panky
Gin and sweet vermouth cocktail with Fernet Branca
Glass: Coupe
Garnish: Orange peel
Created by Ada Coleman, head bartender at the Savoy Hotel's American Bar in the 1920s. One of the earliest known cocktails created by a woman bartender. The name reportedly came from actor Sir Charles Hawtrey who exclaimed "By Jove! That is the real hanky-panky!" after tasting it.
