Details
Concerto is already a coffee amaro, so it corrects espresso with cocoa, liquorice and caramel rather than fighting it. A short pour keeps it a coffee, not a cocktail.

Historical Context
In Italy an espresso corretto (corrected) is laced with a splash of liquor, traditionally after a meal. Concerto, a Cesari-family coffee-and-cocoa amaro from Don Ciccio & Figli, corrects the coffee with more coffee: liquorice, caramel and cocoa deepening the espresso.
