Sweetgrass Bitters by Dram Apothecary

Sweetgrass is held sacred in many Native American traditions and has been used ceremonially across the Plains and Great Lakes nations for centuries, most often braided and burned. Dram Apothecary, based in Silver Plume, Colorado, builds these bitters around it alongside a wider herbal blend.

Sweetgrass carries a natural vanilla-like sweetness, so the nose reads soft and hay-like rather than green. The palate turns floral and gently sweet, finishing long and grassy with very little bitterness.
