- 2 dashes (1.2 ml) Angostura Aromatic Bitters bittersTraditional aromatic spice
- 1 whole (1.0 whole) Egg modifierFresh whole egg
- 2 oz (59.1 ml) Dutch Genever spiritTraditional Dutch juniper spirit (jonge or oude)
- 1/2 oz (14.8 ml) Simple Syrup sweetenerRich simple syrup
Instructions
- Add 2 oz Dutch genever, 1/2 oz simple syrup, and 1 whole egg to shaker
- Add 2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters
- Dry shake vigorously without ice Essential for emulsification
- Add ice and shake again vigorously
- Double strain into chilled small coupe glass Pre-chill glass
- Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg creating aromatic crown
